Oddiar ei orsedd yn y nef
Mae Duw a'i lef yn dadgan,
Mai dedwydd mewn anfarwol fro
Yw'r meirw o hyn allan.
Y rhai, er teithio dan y groes,
Yn niwedd oes a hunant
A'u pwys ar Grist, ein Harglwydd ni,
Dderbynir i ogoniant.
Gorphwysant mewn dedwyddwch pur
Oddiwrth eu cur
a'u lludded,
Heb arnynt ofid, poen, na chlwy',
Na newyn mwy, na syched.
Arweinir hwy gan Iesu gwiw,
At ffrydiau byw o ddyfroedd;
Fel ffrwd lifeiriol yw eu hedd,
Yn nwyfol wledd y nefoedd.

Tôn [MS 8787]: Swansea (W D Samuel) |
From his throne in heaven
God declares with his voice,
That happy in an immortal region
Are the dead from now on.
Those, despite travelling under the cross,
Who at the end of the age sleep
Leaning on Christ, our Lord,
Shall be received into glory.
They will rest in pure happiness
Away from their ache
and their exhaustion
With no grief, pain, or wound upon them,
Nor any more hunger, or thirst.
They are led by worthy Jesus,
Towards living streams of waters;
Like a flowing torrent is his peace,
In the divine feast of heaven.
